##1001
About ReOrg
-----------
Shows some information about program version
and copyright
##1002
Help
----
Selects help mode. If help mode is on,
ReOrg shows a help message whenever the
user selects a menu item or a gadget
##1003
Quit ReOrg
----------
Quits ReOrg
##1101
Create Icons?
-------------
If this menu item is selected, ReOrg
creates an icon (.info-file) when
saving settings
##1102
Load settings
-------------
Load new settings from a settings file
##1103
Save settings
-------------
Save settings to the current settings file
##1104
Save settings as
----------------
Save settings to a settings file
##2001
Format
------
This gadget determines, if the destination
disk is to be formatted:
- Off: No tracks are formatted
- On: Only used tracks are formatted
before the first access
- All Tracks: All Tracks of the
destination disk are formatted (only
in "Two Drives" mode)
##2004
Write verify
------------
If this gadget is selected, ReOrg does
a write verify on all written tracks.
In this case, ReOrg needs more time for
Reorganization.
##2005
Workbench Mode
--------------
If this gadget is selected, ReOrg tries
to store all files with the suffix ".info"
(Workbench icons) near their header block.
This will speed up the display of icons
on Workbench.
##2020
Graphical sector display
------------------------
If this gadget is selected, ReOrg shows
which sectors are used and cached in a
graphical display.
This will slightly slow down the
optimization.
##2009
Select option file
------------------
By selecting this gadget, you can choose
one option file, that contains
reorganization options for specific files.
About the file format: See the ReOrg docs.
##2010
Clear option file
-----------------
By selecting this gadget, you instruct
ReOrg to use standard parameters for all
files
##2011
Option file
-----------
In this string gadget you can enter the
name of a option file that contains file-
specific parameters.
##2012
Drive
-----
This gadget is used to select the drive
that contains the disk to be optimized
##2912
FROM Drive
----------
This gadget is used to select the drive
that contains the source disk. The contents
of this disk are copied and optimized to
the disk in the TO-Drive.
##2013
Mode
----
There are two modes of operation:
- One Drive: Necessary if you do not have
two drives which are compatible to each
other (e.g. harddisk).
- Two Drives: The recommended mode for
floppy disks. the source disk is copied
and optimized to the destination disk.
##2014
Start
-----
This gadget starts the optimization
##2015
Cancel
------
This gadget quits ReOrg.
##2016
TO Drive
--------
This gadget is used to select the
destination drive. The contents of the
source disk are copied and optimized to
this drive
##2000
FileExt Blocks
--------------
This gadget is used to adjust ReOrg to
different Amiga filing system versions.
The technical documentation of ReOrg
contains a detailed description of the
options "Front","Mid" and "Scatter".
##2002
Partition Half
--------------
This gadget is used to select whether file
contents are placed in front of ("lower")
of behind ("upper") the directory data.
With different filing systems this setting
may affect the performance of disk accesses
in different ways.
##2003
Update Disk Date
----------------
This gadget should usually be switched on.
In this case, ReOrg changes the disk
creation date to tell Amiga-DOS, that the
disk layout has changed.
##2006
SIMULATE optimization only
--------------------------
If this gadget is activated, the optimized
data is NOT written back to disk. The
optimization is only done "theoretically" -
useful to check if your harddisk is
compatible to ReOrg
##2019
Read drive geometry
-------------------
If this gadget is activated, ReOrg adjusts
itself to drives that support different disk
formats (e.g. high density drives).
Anyway, for HD disks in standard Amiga disk
drives this switch is not needed. Therefore
it should normally be switched off.
##2007
Safety memory
-------------
In this string gadget you can enter the
amount of memory that ReOrg should NOT use.
All other memory is used by ReOrg as a
cache.
The size of safety memory must not be less
that 50000 to keep multitasking working
##2008
Small file limit
----------------
In this string gadget you can enter the
maximum size (in blocks) of files, for
which you want fast access. The contents
of these files are placed near their
header blocks.
Large values will slow down directory
accesses.
